Description

■Standard: Complies with JIS B 1111 – Annex (Cross Recessed Machine Screws) [Reference] Not based on ISO 7045–7048 ■Material: Steel (e.g., SWCH10R), Stainless Steel (e.g., SUSXM7), Brass (e.g., C2700W), others ■Mechanical Properties: Equivalent to steel grade 4.8 and stainless steel grade A2-50 <<Features of Machine Screws>> Externally threaded fasteners with relatively small diameters and a formed head. Used in combination with tapped components or nuts. Common head types include pan head, flat head, oval head, truss head, and bind head. <<Flat Head Features>> The shape resembles a deep plate commonly found in households (though not like today's rounded - edge dishware). Used with countersunk holes (chamfered in a conical shape) so the head sits flush with the surface. Often selected when there is a need to keep the fastener head from protruding - either for functional reasons (e.g., another part sits on the surface) or for appearance. <<Applications>> No specific application - widely used in carious settings. Designed for use with a Phillips scredriver.
