An open system for overhead movement in the x-y dimension is enabled by two beams, either in the form of floor attached arches or roof hanging rails, and at least one girder. Movement in the y- dimension is enabled by the tool of choice, either a TAWI vacuum lifter or hoist . The tool is hanged from the bridge and the accompanied vacuum tube or electrical cord is elegantly managed in the overhead structure of the single girder crane system.
