Areas of application:
Wire electrode made of nitrogen-containing, ferritic-austenitic chromium-nickel-molybdenum steel for MIG/MAG welding of stainless, ferritic-austenitic duplex steel for operating temperatures up to +250 °C, cryogenic to -40 °C. For joint and surfacing welds with non-alloyed, low-alloyed and stainless steel/cast steel. Watch out for the tendency of the base material to become brittle. Structure is ferritic-austenitic. The delta ferrite content in the untreated weld material is 25 – 35 %. The weld material is particularly resistant to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress cracking corrosion in media containing chlorine and hydrogen sulphide.
