Description

Areas of application: Wire electrode made of nitrogen-containing, ferritic-austenitic chromium-nickel-molybdenum steel for MIG/MAG welding of stainless, ferritic-austenitic duplex steel for operating temperatures up to +250 °C, cryogenic to -40 °C. For joint and surfacing welds with non-alloyed, low-alloyed and stainless steel/cast steel. Watch out for the tendency of the base material to become brittle. Structure is ferritic-austenitic. The delta ferrite content in the untreated weld material is 25 – 35 %. The weld material is particularly resistant to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress cracking corrosion in media containing chlorine and hydrogen sulphide. Material number 1.4462 Basic materials 1.4347, 1.4417, 1.4460, 1.4462, 1.4582 Processing instructions Suitable inert gas in accordance with EN ISO 141759: M 12 Norm name DIN EN ISO 14343-A : G 22 9 3 NL EN 12072: G 22 9 3 NL Mechanical quality values Yield strength:450 - 600 MPa Tensile strength:550 - 800 MPa Elongation:20 - 28 % Notch impact value:75 J (+ 20 °C)
