How to choose the nozzle

• The first digit indicates fan width (spray angle). Example: "4" = 40°; multiply by 5 for coverage at 30 cm (4 × 5 = 20 cm).
• Larger fan angles (40°+) suit wall painting; narrower angles (10°–20°) suit detailed spraying such as railings, poles or columns.
• The last two digits show orifice size in thousandths of an inch (usually odd numbers). Higher numbers increase flow. Flow also depends on pressure and paint viscosity.
