DescriptionThe AUBH vibrating hopper bottoms by Tec.s.i.m. are inverted‑cone devices available in a wide range, designed to facilitate discharge of bulk materials from silos and hoppers by means of vibration. They are composed of a cone in carbon or stainless steel, an integrated polymer gasket flanged top and bottom, suspension links connecting the vibrating bottom to the silo, and one or two ITALVIBRAS electric vibrators. A welding flange supplied with or before the vibrating bottom is welded to the silo cone in situ; the special suspensions and polymer gasket form a flexible connection between silo and vibrating bottom.
Materials and components- Cone in carbon steel or stainless steel
- Integrated polymer gasket, flanged top and bottom
- Suspensions for connection between vibrating bottom and silo
- One or two ITALVIBRAS electric vibrators
- Welding flange for silo cone (supplied)
Installation and connectionA welding flange is fitted to the silo cone on site; special suspension elements and the polymer gasket provide a flexible, sealed connection between the silo and the vibrating bottom, simplifying installation and maintenance.
OperationThe electric vibrators mounted on the bottom generate a vibration that produces a circular movement of the entire cone. This motion is transmitted to the material inside the silo, promoting a homogeneous flow toward the discharge and the downstream dosing/transport equipment. Activation occurs when the downstream extraction device operates.
Compliance- Machine Directive 2006/42/EC
- Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2004/108/EC
- ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU (potentially explosive atmospheres)
