Combined with a capacitive energy buffer of the DC-link to reuse brake energy and reduce peak power consumption from the grid. - Screw Design: Tederic In-house screw design optimized for Polyolefins. 27-L/D screw for maximum plasticizing performance even with the shortest cycle times. Double flighted screw for improved plasticizing performance. Combined mixing element for homogenization and masterbatch distribution. Fully hardened screw for improved wear behavior. Electric screw drive and high torque availability for full parallel process. Accurate closed-loop back pressure control by a servo-valve.
