Description

Product Overview:Thickness measurement, rebar & flaw detection. For quality assessment of concrete infrastructure with 3D imaging of inspection volume. A portable handheld ultrasonic tomograph is designed for imaging of the internal structure of concrete at one-sided access. The tomograph represents a fully-autonomous measurement unit for collection and tomographic processing of the data obtained. The measurement unit contains a matrix antenna array from 48 (12 blocks, each containing 4 elements) low-frequency broadband transducers of shear waves with dry-point-contact and ceramic wear-resistant tips. Hence, they can work with rough surfaces for a long time. Each transducer is equipped with an independent spring suspension, thus allowing inspection on uneven surfaces. Nominal frequency of the array is 50 kHz.Operational advantages:Instrument’s interface allows working with laser beams projected on the surface of the testing object, enabling correct maintenance of the shift step of the antenna array during complete technical diagnostics.Handheld light-weight body and repositionable handle for convenient operation on horizontal, vertical, and roof surfaces.Reference scale on the lower part of the instrument’s body for convenient localization of defects relative to the antenna device.Large and bright TFT display and keyboard for easy adjustment, mode selection, and inspection with real-time result viewing.Internal rechargeable battery provides 5 hours of operation; increased charge-discharge cycle enhances reliability for long-term application. Can also be powered directly from AC mains.Data transfer to external PC for advanced processing via dedicated software.Inspection is carried out as step-by-step sounding with data combining and volume reconstruction over the whole scanned surface.Exploitation / Applications:Inspection of concrete constructions up to 2500 mm thickness for consistency evaluation.Inspection of reinforced concrete constructions up to 800 mm thickness for consistency evaluation.Search for foreign inclusions, cavities, voids, delaminations, leaks of filling, and cracks in concrete, reinforced concrete, and natural stone.Inspection of marble and granite constructions up to 2000 mm thickness.Search for plastic and metal pipes (diameter >10 mm) in reinforced concrete.Inspection of internal structure of carbon rods (diameter >900 mm).Evaluation of condition of channels with stressed reinforcement in reinforced concrete bridges.Inspection of understructures, columns, overhead covers in cast-in-place constructions to detect voids and leaks.Search for voids and cavities behind liner plates of underground and railway tunnels.Inspection of refractory blocks of glass blowing furnaces.Estimation of thickness of concrete cover and depth of coverage reinforcement.Thickness measurement at one-sided access.Detailed registration of results obtained.Technical specifications:Scanning devicebuilt-in matrix antenna arrayOperating frequency25 – 85 kHzNumber of transducers in the antenna array48Type of transducers used in the antenna arraylow-frequency broadbandtransversal with dry point contactand ceramic wear-proof tipsVelocity rangefrom 1 000 to 4 000 m/sMaximum view depth in concrete2500 mmThickness measuring range50 – 600 mmMaximum error (X – thickness)±(0.05∙X+10) mmMinimal size of a located reflectora sphere 20 mm in diameterat least 200 mm longat the depth from 50 to 400 mmDisplay type5.7'' TFT, colourEmbedded memoryflash 7GbPowerbuilt-in batteryVoltage11.2 VOperating time (battery)5 hPC connectionUSBOperation temperature rangefrom -10 to +50°CWeight4.5 kgSize, not more than without handles370 х 150 х 145 mmwith handles positioned horizontally470 х 150 х 170 mmwith handles positioned vertically370 х 210 х 170 mmDelivery set:А1040 MIRA – ultrasonic tomographCharging unitUSB A – Micro B connection cableTravel caseVisualization and evaluation Software INTROVIEW – 12 month license*Characteristics / Technical Specifications (summary):Built-in matrix antenna array with 48 low-frequency broadband transducersOperating frequency: 25–85 kHzVelocity range: 1,000–4,000 m/sMaximum view depth in concrete: 2,500 mmThickness measuring range: 50–600 mmMaximum error: ±(0.05∙X+10) mmDisplay: 5.7'' TFT, colourEmbedded memory: 7Gb flashPower: built-in battery, 11.2 V, 5 h operationPC connection: USBOperating temperature: -10 to +50°CWeight: 4.5 kgDimensions: 370x150x145 mm (without handles), 470x150x170 mm (handles horizontal), 370x210x170 mm (handles vertical)
