Product description
tesa® 4657 PV0 is an acrylic-coated cloth tape based on a 145 mesh woven cotton fabric with a thermosetting natural rubber adhesive. It is designed for die-cutting and automotive hole covering and masking during industrial painting processes. Versions available: PV0 (standard), PV1 (low unwind), PV9 (with yellow glassine paper liner, 76 µm).

Product Features

• High tensile strength and puncture resistance; adheres well to a wide range of substrates even at elevated temperatures.
• Conformable cloth backing with high resistance to paints, solvents and abrasion; waterproof.
• Acrylic coating provides excellent ageing stability suitable for permanent applications.
• Suitable for both temporary and permanent hole covering in vehicle production and for masking in industrial painting.
• Hand-tearable for easy handling; can be torn in straight edges along the woven mesh.
• Residue-free removal possible, even after high-temperature exposure.
• Low VOC according to VDA 278 analysis.
