SILCAWOOL® is a complete range of Bio-soluble HT Fiber Textile Products, reinforced with steel or glass wires, resistant to very high temperatures. The base material of Tespe SILCAWOOL® Textile Products consists of a new calcium/silicate Fiber ( SILCAWOOL® ), with a small quantiy of organic fibers that decomposes at 200 °C. In order to ensure that the strenght is manteined at high temperature, the SILCAWOOL yarns are reinforced either with Steel wires ( for 1050 °C ) or glass filaments ( for 650 °C ). Because of their technical peculiarities - high temperature resistence, low thermal conducivity, low density, high flexibility - Tespe SILCAWOOL® Textile Products are the best substitute of the Ceramic Fiber Textile Products.
