sleeves are textile products made using with heat resistant yarns by special braiding machines with several spindles. The Aramtex® sleeve is produced using 100% pure aramid yarns with discontinuous filaments that provide it with greater softness and good mechanical resistance at a lower cost compared to sleeves made with continuous filaments. Aramtex® sleeves are used mainly in the glass tempering sector for covering the rollers of tempering furnaces. Applications Textiles for the glass industry: for cladding rollers, in flat glass tempering furnaces and for covering slumping moulds and hot glass handling tools.
