Description

Texgraf® flat gaskets are obtained from a sheet of flexible expanded graphite into which a tanged foil with a thickness of 0.1 mm made of AISI 316 has been inserted. They are not subject to thermal shock and so their mechanical properties are extremely stable over time. They are ideal for installation on irregular surfaces because their superior plasticity guarantees a tight seal. Applications Ideal for use with high temperatures and pressures, in cases of thermo-mechanical shock, in the presence of saturated or superheated steam and chemically aggressive fluids, with the exception of strongly oxidised agents.
