Thermo Scientific Transcend TLX TurboFlow UHPLC systems combine online TurboFlow sample cleanup with multichannel UHPLC for streamlined LC‑MS workflows. These systems reduce manual sample preparation for complex matrices (plasma, urine, etc.), increase instrument utilization through staggered channel scheduling, and support higher throughput configurations up to four channels (TLX‑4). Aria MX software simplifies method setup, scheduling and control.

How does multichannel LC‑MS work?
Multichannel LC‑MS on Transcend TLX systems runs two (TLX‑2) or up to four (TLX‑4) staggered LC analyses using one mass spectrometer. Intelligent scheduling runs the second channel during column reconditioning so the MS remains productive, maximizing sample throughput and instrument return on investment.
