Ceiling-mounted sensor used for the measurement of brightness or ambient light levels. Depending on the prism (straight or diagonal), light levels can be detected reliably and selectively in living rooms, offices and work spaces. The sensor is adapted to the spectral sensitivity of human eyes and contributes to a demand-based efficient control of light and sunblinds/shading systems. The remote sensor can be connected to the enclosure with a conventional RJ45 cable, allowing for an easy installation even in hardly accessible locations. If two sensors are used, the average, minimum or maximal value of both brightness signals can be provided in addtion to the independent measurements of each sensor (configurable via Thermokon USEapp).
