The bending centre MultiBend-30 unites the functions press bending, roller bending and rotation bending within a single machine. The machine is equipped with a level working platform with precisely guided lifting sled for accommodating the bending tools. With a force of 280KN the machine offers sufficient capacity reserves to bend heavy-duty profiles too. It is optionally possible to equip the MultiBend-30 with a roller drive and rotation drive. With the rotation bending process the profile is bent around a bending core. The bending angle is directly programmable. The bending radius is determined by the bending core. The drive is implemented by a heavy-duty planetary geared motor. The independent drive is able to turn endlessly, no end stop limiting exists. Bending operations that require a bending angle greater than 180 degrees as well as the winding of profiles around a core are no problem. With the powerful roller drive it is possible to bend tubes and profiles efficiently and with high precision with the roller bending process. Equipped with the NC control PP41 it is also possible to bend complex bending contours, with multiple bending radii or straight ends, precisely and with repeated accuracy. Program generation takes place directly on the machine or on an external PC with the use of the roller bending software.
