The DCL from TIM SA is a model metering unit that is used for measuring granulates, such as pellets and powder. The DCL regrinds with adjustable and even throughputs. After the process, the products are conveyed and mixed in a transitube feeder that automatically feeds the moulding machine or extruder hopper. It has a meter spiral with an inner tube that maintains the even output flow, and keeps the measuring tube constantly filled. The meter spiral is driven by a constant speed gearbox motor for the delicate granulates, and a DC variable speed motor for the regrinding process. The benefits of the machine includes high quality finished products, and no need for manual manipulations since the machine is in automatic operation.
