2×1 Colour | IR Drying Vertical pad printing on steel parts for the agriculture industry with double pad printing and drying station to be able to work with different products at the same time or to double the production of the same product. The loading is done manually by the operator but the cycle starts automatically when the part sensor detects the presence of the part and when the safety barrier is released. A fully automatic printing cycle is carried out by means of a Ø140mm ink cup independent of the pad. The pad carriage is servomotorised and the vertical travel is monitored by an encoder for precise lowering both on the cliché side and on the workpiece. When pad printing is done and the pad carriage returns to the safe position, the quartz emitter IR drying system heats the printing area to pre-dry the part so that it can be handled by the operator. When the cycle is finished, the machine's fixture opens automatically so that the operator can remove the part.
