The TPS-ICL-3P-12A is a DIN rail-mounted, three-phase AC-inrush current limiter designed to protect inductive and capacitive loads from high inrush currents in 400VAC systems. With a rated current of 12A per phase, it effectively limits the peak inrush current to 45A for 100-500ms, preventing unintended fuse tripping and allowing the use of smaller, faster circuit breakers. Featuring an integrated bypass relay—not a simple NTC thermistor solution—it ensures reliable operation after the startup phase. The device accepts wire sizes of AWG13-11 (2.6-4.2mm²), operates in a temperature range of 40°C to 70°C with convection cooling, and complies with safety standards EN60950-1 and EN61000-6-2,3, carrying CE and RoHS certifications. With an MTBF of 300,000 hours, it is ideal for demanding applications including motor starting, transformer protection, and any three-phase system requiring robust inrush current management.
