The TS 2970 is a modular, very compact alignment conveyor with standardized alignment bars. The narrow roller pitch, the consistent minimization of nipping points, the low slippage and an installation length reduced by more than 50% clearly set it apart from standard angled roller conveyors such as the TS 2960. In combination with the Powered Side Belt (TS 6570), this alignment unit is ideally suited for use in conveyor systems with demanding loads. This means that shipping bags, polybags, flexible goods, small and large cartons, plastic containers, trays, etc. can be transported and aligned particularly gently. Typical applications can be found in the area of packaged unit loads from 100 mm in length. These include carton conveyor systems for parcel and courier service providers, order picking and dispatch systems in online retail and returns systems. Due to its very compact, modular design, the TS 2970 is not only particularly suitable for new installations (greenfield), but also for extensions and modifications of existing systems (brownfield/retrofit).
