The compatibility of ETO bushings with the ANSI and IEC requirements for the connection of oil-filled transformers to cable boxes is the first aspect worth mentioning. Next, the bushings are available with voltages between 72.5 and 550kV, in the most common ratings. As for the features, ETO bushings can also be provided on request, for a full range of operating ratings and standards of type ANSI and IEC. The paper insulation is impregnated with epoxy resin, while the vacuum impregnation at the condenser level provides excellent partial discharge performance. The oil free solid insulation offers no fire or explosion risk, while the design of the bushings allows for differential expansion across a normal range of operating temperatures. Finally, the connection flange comes with a remote test tapping for tan delta measuring, while the non-standard CT accommodation and corona shields can be made available on request.
