TSM’s OPTIX Gravimetric Batch Blender Loss-in-Weight technology, has been designed exclusively for extrusion control. All the fundamental capabilities are enhanced in this new range and packaged in a sleek, robust, user-friendly design. But most importantly, essential business metrics relating to material usage, energy usage, downtime analysis and OEE (Operational Equipment Efficiency) are available across single or multiple lines and factories. In line with growing demand for our OPTIX range, we have released the new OPTIX 100 series which can deliver up to 100 Kilos (220 lbs.) per hour for continuous machine direction control of extrusion processes. This expansion allows TSM to offer a very compact unit ideal for multi-layer co-ex applications. TSMs patented reverse auger technology is combined with ultra-fast, responsive throughput measurements for real-time control. A new control algorithm allows performance to be maintained at lower set-points.
