Stacker cranes are intensive automated warehouse handling robots suitable for handling pallets, totes and reels, and other load units. The structure of a stacker crane consists of several important parts that determine its structure and other parts that may vary depending on the type of material handled. TELESCOPIC FORKS The transverse handling of the loading units is done through the use of a pair of bidirectional telescopic forks that can operate in simple, double or triple depth. The fixed element and the trailing elements are made with special profiles such as to allow the containment of the outline within the forking compartment and to limit bending at full load and at maximum extension. SATELLITE In this case, handling of the loading units is done by a motorized chain conveyor in combination with a multi-depth satellite. Loading and unloading operations in the header are carried out through the conveyor while storage and retrieval operations within the channels are carried out through the cable satellite.
