The Contact BoardRunner’s patent-pending technology creates a non-linear force curve that takes weight off the valve which allows the glue applicator to adjust seamlessly with the board. Air delivered through a cylinder provides a virtually weightless contact application. The all-electric Series 900 Valve remains in contact with the board at all times with minimal pressure applied to the board. The valve follows the contour of the board whether it’s single-wall, double-wall, flat or warped board. The BoardRunner® features modular, quick-release valve and bearing brackets for simple changeover from top-down to bottom-up gluing. The valve provides unparalleled high-speed performance with over 250 million cycles before simple maintenance is needed. The impact-resistant carbide plunger tip and engineered ceramic seat provide extreme durability. The 900 valve’s powerful coil results in extremely accurate and repeatable glue patterns, in contrast to pneumatically activated extrusion systems. Easily switch from inside to outside gluing with no tools required. The applicator heads allow for quick removal for changing number of beads and bead spacing.
