Description
Valco Melton's Tissue Tack and Reel Systems are fully automatic, eliminating operator intervention and associated labor and safety issues. By spraying a tacky adhesive directly across the entire width of the tissue web at full speed during a reel transfer, the Valco Melton TT&R system reduces lost time and waste, often times having a payback of 3 months. Stability is improved by reducing the amount of recycled pulp. The system operates at any machine speed and basis weight (8.6 lbs to 26 lbs). The Tissue Tack and Reel System is designed for any paper machine width.
