Application
The OFW upper yarn detector is the first yarn monitoring point after the bobbin on the path to the knitting machine. It is installed on the yarn path between the bobbin and the machine to detect presence or absence of yarn and to provide a detection signal to the knitting machine control or to an external monitoring system. The detector is suitable for integration into creels and yarn guiding assemblies on industrial knitting lines.
