Sheets are available in different Fluoroplastics such as PTFE, PCTFE, PFA, FEP, ETFE as well as other high performance materials such as PEEK, POM and PTEP. The thickness and dimensions available vary depending on the material used. Vanéflon uses different techniques to deliver products to your specific requirements such as compression molding, hot molding and extrusion. Key properties: Compression molded plates (PTFE and many compounds): 600 x 600 mm 1.000 x 1.000 mm 1.200 x 1.200 mm 1.500 x 1.500 mm Hot molded plates (PCTFE, PFA, FEP and ETFE): +/- 510 x 510 mm +/- 535 x 285 mm Extruded plates: 1.000 x 1.000 mm 1.000 x 2.000 mm 3.000 x 500 mm Other dimensions on request Thickness: 1 – 150 mm depending on the material Different dimensions available from stock SKIVED SHEETS Skiving is a technique that cuts material off in thin slices. Vanéflons skived sheets are skived with a thickness up to 3 mm from large PTFE blocks. The width and length can be adjusted according to your specific requirements. These skived sheets will deliver superior insulation strength. Other characteristics are their non-stickyness, flexibility and high temperature resistance. On top they have a high resistance against chemicals, heat and moisture. Skived sheets do not suffer from porosity, exhibit an excellent release and have a very low coefficient of friction.
