Tach-1 is a laser tachometer (phase / RPM reference sensor) for the Balanset series, based on a modified HS2234 module adapted for dynamic balancing. It supplies the once-per-revolution phase reference and rotational-speed measurement the balancing process requires, reading a reflective mark on the rotor from up to 2 m away. The 4.5 m cable allows flexible positioning on the machine.
