Overview
VITgrip™ lab bottle, polypropylene (PP), GL 45 neck with tamper-evident screw cap. Round, multipurpose plastic bottle for sampling and storing liquids in the laboratory. The slim, tapered ergonomic shape and molded volume graduations provide an enhanced grip, especially when wearing gloves. The optimized thread and screw-cap sealing system ensures leakproof performance under defined test conditions, and the hydrophobic material plus round shape enable easy pouring and cleaning. Double-sided molded graduations (accuracy ±5%) allow easy reading of the contained volume during use. The supplied tamper-evident cap signals whether the bottle has been previously opened. The bottle shows very good chemical resistance to most acids, bases and alcoholic solutions. Autoclavable at 121 °C (2 bar) according to DIN EN 285. Bottle and tamper-evident cap are suitable for food contact in compliance with EU No. 10/2011.

* IMPORTANT NOTE: The term leakproof applies under the following test conditions: The VITgrip™ lab bottle is filled halfway with distilled water and closed with the supplied VITLAB screw closure — after the tamper-evident ring clicks into place — tightened to a torque of 5 Nm. The bottle is then turned upside down and left standing on the screw cap for 15 minutes without the filled water escaping. Test performed at room temperature (approx. 20 °C) and atmospheric pressure.
