Description
Braking resistors are used to slow motors by absorbing the energy they produce. They come in a number of different designs, from wirewound resistors through to grid resistors and compact resistive elements. Harmonic filter resistors absorb harmonics to reduce distortions in power systems.
They are made up of multiple grid resistors which are combined together and housed in one or more enclosures.
