Description

• Prevents freezing of pipes and conduits • Ready-to-use with Schuko plug • Self-regulating heating cable technology • Automatic on/off functionality via integrated bimetal thermostat • No overheating of the cable – even with overlapping • Simple installation Application The Frost Protection Heating Cable SPC PRO is a plug-and-play heating circuit based on self-regulating heating cable technology. It compensates for heat loss from pipes during cold seasons, reliably prevents freezing, and safeguards against damage. This prolongs the lifespan of the pipeline and reduces repair and operating costs. An integrated bimetal thermostat in the connection sleeve automatically switches the heating circuit on at +3°C and off at +12°C. Construction The SPC PRO heating circuit consists of a self-regulating heating cable with a polyolefin outer jacket, a 2m long cold lead with a plug, a connection sleeve including an integrated bimetal thermostat, and an end seal. The factory-made cast connection sleeve and end seal are reliable and tightly sealed. Safety Due to the self-regulating technology, the heating output adjusts automatically to the ambient temperature of the object being heated. Therefore, the heating cable can be easily installed on pipes exposed to varying temperatures. Thanks to its self-regulating nature, the heating cable cannot overheat, even when installed with overlapping sections.
