EcoTWIN-S two-core heating cable The EcoTWIN-S heating cable is particularly suitable for direct heating in sufficiently thermally insulated rooms, but can also be used as a supplementary heating system for improved thermal comfort. The heating cable is specially designed for installation in concrete floors and screed and can be used under a wide variety of floor coverings, e.g. under tiles, natural stone or PVC flooring. To ensure even heat distribution, the heating cable is laid in a loop shape with a constant cable spacing using a fastening tape. For energy-saving operation of the two-wire heating circuits, an electronic temperature controller with a corresponding floor temperature sensor must be installed. Structure EcoTWIN-S is a fixed resistance heating cable consisting of two heating conductors with HT polymer insulation and a polyolefin outer sheath. The EcoTWIN-S heating circuits for installation in concrete and screed are equipped with a PTC thermistor (3 m long) and a reliable connection sleeve. The sheathing with aluminium tape with 100 % coverage inside the cable provides additional mechanical strength and ensures extremely low EMF.
