Short-cycle assembly line LS 280

LS280 boasts a rare combination of rotary indexing table and cam worm plus belt conveying system that provides the liner assembly system its high productivity and improved cycle speeds of up to 60 cycles/minute. The rotary table affords a choice of indexing pitches, viz. 70, 140, 280, and 560 mm, with corresponding workpiece substitution time of 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, and 1.2 s, respectively; the positioning accuracy is ±0.03 mm along the X and Y axis and ±0.06 mm along the Z axis. The radical combination of cam drive and belt offers rapid workpiece transit without any jolts or jerks.
