OverviewThe HA Series sets a new precision benchmark within the WENZEL portfolio. Developed for applications where measurement results serve as reference values, it combines uncompromising mechanical precision, exceptional thermal stability and maximum reproducibility even across large measuring volumes. With accuracies of up to 0.8 + L/500 µm, it delivers reliable reference values for demanding inspection tasks.
Design & ConceptThe HA Series is based on the proven half-gantry architecture of the LH Series but has been specifically further developed for the high-accuracy segment. Central components, guides and supporting structures were reinforced, bearing distances increased and the entire mass distribution redesigned. The mechanical concept is complemented by selected manufacturing processes and extended correction and compensation functions.
Materials & Thermal BehaviourThe heart of the machine is a massive granite machine body. Base, truss and quill consist entirely of granite, providing thermally homogeneous behaviour, high intrinsic stiffness and excellent vibration damping—crucial prerequisites for reproducible measurement results at the highest level.
Performance & ApplicationThe HA Series is an independent platform for maximum accuracy, maximum reproducibility and long-term measurement reliability. It ensures consistently high measurement accuracy even under the most demanding conditions — across large measurement ranges and over long periods of time.
