OverviewThis rear-loading cold recycler is designed for Cold In-place Recycling (CIR) and Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) as part of a paving train. Working width 3,800 mm and mixing capacity up to 800 t/h. Adds cement, emulsion or foamed bitumen and can operate as a high-performance milling/granulating unit.
Key features- Economical single-pass CIR/FDR with binder and water addition to produce a new in-place mix.
- Rear loader with folding, steerable discharge conveyor for controlled transfer to truck or paver hopper.
- Standard working width 3,800 mm; lateral premilling enables rehabilitation of wider pavements.
- Optional MCS EXTEND for conversion of working widths.
Simple operating concept- Main control panels can be positioned for either working direction.
- High-resolution colour display for all machine parameters.
- Large, clear ground control panels for crew.
- On-board diagnostics and numerous automatic functions for easy maintenance and operation.
- LEVEL PRO precision leveling with multiple sensor options.
Visibility, comfort and ergonomics- Optimised machine geometry for excellent visibility.
- High-quality camera system available with up to seven cameras.
- Clear and flexible operator station with canopy for improved comfort.
- Fast setup and quick retooling to suit application conditions.
Powertrain and engine management- High-power diesel engine (27.2 l / 775 kW) with intelligent engine-machine management for maximum advance speed.
- Reduced noise emissions for operation in urban and night-time schedules.
- Available compliance with EU Stage 5 / US EPA Tier 4f (or other configurations as required).
- Full-track drive (ASC) and oscillating bogie suspensions for optimal traction.
- Direct mechanical drive of the rotor for high efficiency.
Injection and dosing systems- Integrated injection systems for water, bitumen emulsion and foamed bitumen.
- VARIO injection bar with adjustable pressure via variable-orifice nozzles.
- Dosing panel with display for simple and reliable binder control.
- Electrically heated bitumen system and process water control for foamed bitumen production.
- Automatic rinsing and self-cleaning functions to maintain nozzle performance.
Cutting and mixing technologyThe robust milling and mixing rotor granulates damaged asphalt; the mixing chamber produces a homogeneous in-place aggregate-binder blend. Quick-change HT 22 tool holder, hydraulic drum rotation and tooth extractor simplify tool changes.
Paving processWith an integrated screed the material is conveyed to the centre by the rotor and distributed in front of the screed by a feed auger. With rear loading the mix is transferred to the paver hopper via collection and discharge conveyors; the paver then places the material to line and grade.
