Surface miner 4200 SMi

Overview
Surface miner for selective extraction of hard and soft rock. The 4.20 m cutting drum, configured for the application, provides up to 650 mm cutting depth in hard rock and supports high production with minimal tool wear.

Cutting unit
The 4.20 m cutting drum is tailored to the job and designed for sustained cutting performance in hard rock while minimising pick/tool wear.

Material handling
The liftable and slewing rear-loading conveyor enables loading of trucks with payloads between 120 and 220 t, allowing continuous material dispatch in large open-pit sites.

Capacity
Annual mining capacity in soft rock can reach up to 12,000,000 t, making the machine suitable for large-scale open-pit mining operations.

Operator cabin
The fully glazed cabin is heated, air-conditioned, sound-insulated and vibration-isolated to reduce operator fatigue and support productive shifts.
