The WPS 62i is a cost‑effective 2‑track side placer/spreader designed for high‑performance concrete feeding for paving widths from 4.0 m to 7.5 m and layer thicknesses up to 500 mm. The machine features a hydraulically telescoping frame, a concrete strike‑off unit and a fast folding belt conveyor with an intelligent control concept.

Concrete paving with the side placer
The side placer (placer/spreader) is used when paving concrete pavements with pre‑laid reinforcement: it runs ahead of the slipform paver on the pre‑laid reinforcement, a mixer truck feeds the conveyor belt from the side, concrete is deposited evenly and distributed across the working width, and the belt can be folded quickly after discharge.
