With our new developed gear hobbing unit it is now possible to manufacture gears with different geometries and requirements on a turning center. Due to the rugged and compact build-up, as well as the amply dimensioned gearing, good serration qualities can be reached. The WTO typical easy handling already becomes noticeable when changing the cutting tool. The counter support is removable and therefore the cutting area is easy to reach. The cutting tool can be changed easy and fast. On the angle scale swing, angles up to +/-30° can be set up. Because of that you are able to manufacture helical dowel gears with the WTO tool.
