Zaber has released the X-GSM-SV Series - vacuum compatible goniometers with built-in controllers for high (10^-6 Torr) and low (10^-3 Torr) vacuum environments. The built-in controller allows daisy-chaining with other Zaber products and requires only four feedthrough wires to control all units in the daisy-chain via serial port (with an X-PIB adaptor). Optional 40 mm and 60 mm centres of rotation allow for two axes of motion about a common centre of rotation. With a low profile and a small footprint, these devices are excellent for applications where a small profile is required.
