10 to 50 mm² Cu / Al shear bolt cable lug Bi-metal lugs are used to connect a cable to a busbar or terminal. Our shear bolt cable lugs are made of tinned aluminium and are compatible with aluminium or copper cables. They can therefore be connected to either copper or aluminium conductors. Thanks to its compact size, it fits easily into a small space. Self-breaking screws (torque break) mean that all you need to tighten them with a spanner. Always use the correct tightening torque Tightening is achieved by means of self-breaking screws. When the tightening torque is reached (between 7 and 10 N.m), the head of the screw breaks off. This ensures you always have the right torque and avoids the use of expensive torque tools such as hydraulic crimping pliers.
