The system is usually composed of a stationary or rotatable sensor, a translating mechanism (self-driving and pulling) that can move within the tube, measuring software and calibrating loops. Other options include a fixed bracket, a pipe straightness measurement module, a video view module, and a Wi-Fi module that align the measurement module with the pipe axis.
