The LumiCam 1300 imaging photometer and colorimeter captures complex luminance and color distributions in an instant. A monochrome version of the camera is available for applications requiring luminance measurements without color information. The LumiCam 1300 is based on the Interline CCD sensor ICX-285 from Sony, offering an exceptional signal to noise ratio, low smear and very low blooming. A multi-exposure mode provides up to 6 orders of magnitude of dynamic range in a single image, with an absolute measurement range covering 0.0001 to 100,000 cd/m². Higher luminance values are achievable through the use of optional optical density filters. The compact format of the LumiCam 1300 makes it very flexible and opens a diverse range of possible applications. The accompanying LumiCam Software provides comprehensive functions for convenient analysis and documentation of results.

Why Use Color Indexes?
Color Indexes are designed to save time and cut costs by providing the user with only information pertinent to their application. An index simplifies color readings by presenting the user with one number to base a decision on instead of a multitude of data to sort through. Color indexes also replace visual standards used in various applications and therefore taking the subjectivity out of the people doing the observing; Thus providing an instantaneous evaluation of the sample that is accurate measurement after measurement.
Konica Minolta Sensing Americas has pioneered the development of our proprietary Color Indexing Technology or CIT into full turnkey solutions for a number of industries.
What is a CR-410FF?
The CR-410FF is a precise colorimeter that can be used to measure the color of cooked French Fries. Currently, cooked fries are either evaluated visually for color or they are measured by a bulky & expensive instrument. The CR-410F can be used to measure the color of fried potatoes and will display a number, an index value, calculated to correlate to industry standard measurements. The CR-410FF series instrument is based on Konica Minolta's CR-400 instrument technology, a highly accurate and reliable platform that has been in service to the food industry for over 20 years. Additionally the CR-410FF features our proprietary Food Color Indexing Technology or FCIT.

K13200 Petroleum Colorimeter
Grades and compares petroleum oils and waxes according to ASTM D1500 specifications. Color discs situated on either side of the sample contain standards conforming to the chromaticity coordinates of ASTM D1500. Rotate the discs by turning dials on the front of the comparator until the sample color matches the color standards and take the reading directly from the dials. Two-disc configuration offers a distinct advantage over single-disc systems—the sample is always bracketed between the next lower and higher color standards allowing the viewer to easily determine the actual sample color. Comparator may also be used to quickly determine if a sample falls between two predetermined color limits.
View the sample from either a standing or sitting position through a prism eyepiece that brings the standards and sample together in a three-field comparison. A detachable prism light shield may be inserted to eliminate any outside light interference. Color corrected filtered halogen light source corresponding to Illuminant C of the CIE system provides clear visibility, assuring accurate readings.

Jenway is the world leader in Flame Photometer production, with our simple, easy-to-use models found in many thousands of laboratories all round the globe. This interference free method of measuring Sodium (Na), Potassium (K), Calcium (Ca), Lithium (Li) and Barium (Ba) is common in the food processing and feed industries, for agricultural, dairy and wine analysis, in chemical and petrochemical processing, in the drinks industry, in environmental and water analysis, cement, mineral and ore processing and many more… A key area of application is in the clinical laboratory where flame photometers have traditionally been used for the measurement of electrolytes in serum, plasma, urine and other body fluids.
The Models PFP7 and PFP7/C are low temperature, single channel flame photometers designed for the routine determinations of Na & K (Ca, Ba and Li optional). With in-built automatic flame failure detection for user safety these products can be used with Propane, butane, LPG or natural gas, an optional compressor is also available where a clean air supply is not available.
The Model PFP7/C is specifically designed for use in clinical applications. The in-built lineariser circuitry enables readings of both Na and K at the normal clinical serum concentrations to be displayed directly in mmol/l. Serum samples must be diluted prior to presentation to the flame photometer. The Series 7 diluter is available to enable this to be carried out efficiently and accurately.
