The IT-3100 draws its energy from the power supply (100-240V) and the integrated lithium ion storage battery (7.4V, 2200mAh). Excellent power management enables the lowest possible level of electricity consumption, resulting in longer operating times. A back-up battery is integrated, offering additional security for user data. Future additions to the range of functions can simply be transferred by software into the high-performance terminal. This is made possible by the battery-independent memory.

The RF-series handheld terminals are used in hundreds of applications around the globe. The RF601 system consists of radio handhelds that communicate in real time with the host system via base stations. The application software is running on the host system, which eliminates the need to program the handheld units. It also makes software development and updating extremely easy.
System operation
Nordic ID RF601 handhelds are part of a unique wireless data collection system. The system consists of radio handsets, which are used to communicate with the host system via a base station using a very efficient communications protocol. The host system can be just a PC or a more complex computer system. The base station (or several base stations) can be connected to the host system using an RS232 serial interface or with a LAN using the Ethernet-Serial converter.
Nordic ID RF651 hand terminals function otherwise almost similar to RF601 handhelds but as a radio communication they use the globally accepted Bluetooth radio network, either via a Bluetooth base station or via a Bluetooth dongle.
The application software runs by the host system, the handheld appears to it like a wireless keyboard/display/scanner. This eliminates the need for programming the handheld units, thus making software development and updating extremely easy and allowing software to be flexible in application. And more, the communication is rapid because it is real time.

The OPL9724 is a small and lightweight Bluetooth data collector. This scanner collects your information at an impressive 100 scans per second. The memory is large enough to accommodate an entire day of scanning. An integral real-time clock enables each record to be tagged with a date/time stamp for accuracy.
The LCD display allows easy readability of as many as 10 lines of information. Three-key operation permits user definable functions to be created and stored to simplify repetitive tasks.
Wireless communication
The OPL9724 features IrDA and Bluetooth wireless communication, which permits cable free portability. Collect your information in a remote location such as a store or warehouse and return to your desired device such as a PDA or mobile printer for wireless download of your data via IrDA or Bluetooth.
Various cradles are available providing different communication and charging options. The IrDA interface within the cradle allows data transfer when the scanner is inserted for charging. The multiple station cradle permits charging of up to 5 terminals simultaneously.
