The Vaisala DRYCAP® Dewpoint Transmitter DMT242 is the ideal choice for industrial applications where there is a need to control dryer performance in low dewpoints.
The DMT242 incorporates Vaisala’s DRYCAP® thin-film polymer sensor and auto-calibration software, a combination that makes it ideal for use in dry ambients. The transmitter provides long-term stability, fast response time and a wide measurement range with an accuracy of ±2 °C.
The DRYCAP® thin-film polymer sensor is immune to water condensation, particular contamination, oil vapors and most chemicals. Vaisala’s unique auto-calibration software corrects the possible dry end error and provides long term stability in dry conditions. Since the DMT242 transmitter can withstand even 100% condensation, its performance is unmatched for low dewpoint applications that may experience process water spikes.
The DMT242 is both compact, rugged and easy-to-use. The mechanics have been designed for extreme conditions that require protection against dust, dirt and splashed water. The housing is NEMA 4 (IP65) protected and the transmitter can withstand being installed directly into systems at 300psi maximum pressure.

Versatile hygrometer that measures humidity, air temperature and dewpoint
The Protimeter HygroMaster is an easy to use hygrometer with built in data logging capability. The HygroMaster is a hand-held instrument for taking spot measurements and for logging humidity and temperature values. Quick measurements of relative humidity, dew point, mixing ratio (grains per pound/parts per million by weight) and ambient temperature are shown on a split display at the touch of a button. Surface temperature measurements can also be measured with an optional surface temperature sensor, making this instrument especially suitable for condensation risk assessment and diagnosis.
Two types of humidity probes are offered for use with the HygroMaster, the Hygrostick (POL750) and the HumiStick(POL7750-2). The HygroStick in optimized for measuring humidity in the 30-100% rh range and may be used with Protimeter humidity sleeves that are used when measuring the equilibrium relative humidity of solid walls and floors. The HumiStick is a fast responding sensor with a range of 1-100% rh making it more suitable for general air quality applications, including outputs from dehumidifiers and HVAC systems.
Features & Benefits:
All readings are displayed on a large LCD display
The embeddable Hygrosticks can also be used to measure the ERH value of walls and floors
May be used with an optional surface temperature sensor (BLD4701) when investigating dewpoint or condensation conditions
Available with HygroStick or HumiStick and optional data cable and software kit

Optidew is based on the fundamental chilled mirror principle for dew point measurement. It offers a measurement range of <0.5% to 100% relative humidity at operating temperatures from -20°C to +90°C (however this range is extendable up to 130°C with a higher integrity sensor head). The Optidew transmitter can be used in many industrial environments. Optidew offers two linear 4-20mA outputs allowing configuration and monitoring by a suitable computer, PLC system. Michell Instruments also provides its own monitoring and configuration software with logging capability available via RS232 communication. An adjustable volt-free contact alarm is also available for direct process control. An optional high definition alphanumeric display provides local indication of the measured humidity.
Comprehensive user software makes it easy to set instrument parameters such as measurement units (RH, temperature, dew-point, g/kg and g/m3), output range, °C or °F operation etc. The software also provides a data logging and live charting facility and a min/max/average calculation.
The Optidew is available in single or two stage sensor variants according to the measurement range requirement with integrated or remote type sensors. Two display options can also be specified, providing a simple 3.5 digit LED display or a back-lit LED display.

The Easidew Range is a series of instruments designed to measure dew-point and moisture content. Easidew is the most affordable range on the market but uses the newest technology. The Easidew range uses ceramic sensors to give the fastest response times, resist corrosion and cope with sudden pressure change.
The Easidew Transmitter is a two-wire loop powered dew-point transmitter designed to make dew-point measurement as easy as possible. The transmitter is fully configured and calibrated so it can be combined with any air or gas management and control system.
The Easidew On- Line is a cost effective hygrometer with digital display, analogue and digital outputs and a dual alarm feature. The Easidew On-Line is reliable and offers excellent repeatability. The Easidew On-Line can be bench or panel mounted for use in any application.
The Easidew Sampler is a general sampling system which, when used with instruments from the Easidew range, provides measurement of dew-point in compressed air and industrial gas applications. The Sampler allows a sample of gas under test to be conditioned for measurement at atmospheric or full-time pressure. The Easidew Sampler provides flow and pressure regulation and an in-line particulate filter, housing the sensor all in a single monolithic block assembly. The system can be mounted on a panel, post, or pipe brace.
The Easidew TX I.S. and Pro I.S. are both dew-point transmitters designed for use in hazardous areas. Both are certified by ATEX and thoroughly protected to avoid damage in hazardous conditions.

This module, intended to quantify the relative humidity level and temperature in the ambient atmosphere, is made of a micro-system SPSI UPSICAP MSS Bi-Face G-TUCN.32 type that delivers a variable frequency proportional to humidity, and a resistive temperature sensor (thermistor NTC).
The micro-system making this probe, integrates a humidity cell created in-situ on the upper side of the substrate, while the lower side carries the temperature sensor, the electronic transmitter and the plug-in connector. This functional module is associated to a support with output connection. The surface electrode cell which is directly in contact with water vapor is connected to ground (0V).
It can be associated with modules H-TUTA.32 or H-UTA.32 (output 4-20 mA two wires by independant channel). The micro-system module and the substrate of the connector-supply are protected from harsh environment by full moulding, and the sensig side to humidity, can be covered with high efficient atmospheric filter to reduce electrical effects of condensation.
This technology is a major step forward in the field of sensor-transmitters with long-term stability and reduction of mass production cost.
