TAG700 - LV Voltage Detector
The TAG 770 is a low voltage (LV) bipolar voltage detector.
A reliable device that indicates the voltage of an LV installation in both AC and DC voltage.
Robust, it may be fitted with numerous different types of test prods (probes) with or without IP2X protection and with or without fuses (cartridge). It features extra electrical functions that make it a veritable multi-purpose safety tool.

SGDA impulse test systems can be used to generate impulse voltages simulating lightning strokes and switching surges.
The stage energy is 5 or 10 kJ. Max. charging voltage is 3MV.
Applications covered include testing according to IEC, ANSI/IEEE as well as other national standards. The basic system can be upgraded in various ways for special tests and for greater ease of operation. A number of additional circuits and components allow optimising the impulse test system for tests on different kind of high voltage test objects.

Two types of capacitor can be differentiated for mains applications. X capacitors, where a breakdown of the capacitor due to lightning or switching transients would not lead to an electric shock hazard and Y capacitors, used in applications where capacitor breakdown could cause a dangerous situation.
EMC Partner capacitor test systems are used to simulate transient (impulse) and active flammability tests on both X and Y capacitor types over a wide range of values.
MIG0603CAP provides impulses up to 6kV, MIG1212CAP generates 12kV higher energy impulses and MIG1803CAP is used for active flammability testing.
Capacitor testing is performed on batches of 24 samples with all values being recorded. Capacitor test systems from EMC Partner can easily be extended to include automatic switching between samples and registration of test values.
