Using acoustic technology to detect subtle changes in the sounds produced during grinding, these systems produce extremely precise feed rate control when the wheel is touching the part or the dresser.
Acoustic systems are particularly useful for preventing collisions and detecting machine and tool abnormalities, chipped grinding wheels manufacturers and dresser faults. |

Roga MI-17 ICP® (IEPE) measuring microphone - Description:
These 1/4"- ICP® (IEPE) measuring professional microphones are pressure detectors. The model MI-17 have integrated electronics, and can be delivered with sensitivities from 10 to 100 mV/Pa at tolerances of within ± 5 %. Special custom versions are also possible. Professional power supplies for the microphones can be either a constant current source of 2 - 6 mA (standard version) or a constant voltage source 4 - 30 Volts. Normally the microphones are fitted with BNC-manufacturer of connectors (fem.) allowing standard BNC-BNC cables to be used. Other connectors such as TNC, SMB, Lemo or ìdot are also available on request.
These microphones are quite suitable for array applications.
ICP ® is a registered trademark of PCB Group Inc.

Combine a supersensitive piezo accelerometer, an ultra low-noise professional amplifier, excellent electrical/mechanical isolation, and the result will be unmatched performance in measuring low-level vibration.
The 731A ultra-quiet seismic industrial accelerometer can measure vibration levels down to the sub micro-g range by using an ultra low noise internal amplifier and a high sensitivity inertial sensing element. It contains no moving parts, is not sensitive to magnetic fields, and has a relatively low mass.
The P31 amplifier enhances the capabilities of the 731A by providing special low noise signal amplification and conditioning by providing 2.4mA constant current needed to power the accelerometer’s internal amplifier.
Some common applications include: earthquake detection, geophysics, geothermal development, structural analysis and mine safety. |

Piezoelectric film ultrasound industrial transmitters and professional receivers offer unique advantages for air ranging applications. Resonance frequency and vertical beam directivity of the transmitter and receiver can easily be customized by changing the diameter and length of the PVDF professional cylinder. Cylindrical PVDF receivers exhibit very wide horizontal or omni-directional beam directivity and broad band characteristics. These characteristics lend unique solutions in many applications such as two-dimensional positioning, digitizer, object detection, and distance measurement. Piezo film ultrasound transducers also have very low resonance "Q" values. This means that the signal rise and decay times are much shorter than conventional ceramic ultrasound transducers, making Piezo film transducers ideal for positioning applications.
