Line Merging System

| With its closed design, a tube belt conveyor allows optimum adaptation of the conveying route to topographic conditions. Since the conveyed material is completely enclosed, it can be transported dustfree, and even extremely steep gradients are safely coped with. This technology is based on proven machine components and a special belt design which ensures a safe operation. |

The angled belt conveyor GAL-25-K-W has a frame with only 25 mm height. It can therefore be used even in very confined spaces.
The very rigid TorsioDur frame gives a high resistance against torsion which results in high reliability in spite of very small dimensions.
Equipped with a corrugated edge belt it can handle even the smallest parts without any danger of jamming or damaging them.
The angle of inclination can be infinitely adjusted between 40 and 60° from the ground.
The frame has grooves for sliding blocks with M-6 threads on both sides, where additional accessories can be fixed . An overview of accessories available in our standard programme can be found on page 45 and onwards.
The length of the horizontal and the rising section of the conveyor can be adapted to the specific needs of each application. The total length however should not exceed 3 metres.
Hoppers and side rails can be added to the GAL-25-K-W when needed. They will ensure a safe transport of the goods.
In standard configuration the horizontal section has small casters, so the conveyor can easily be moved. A double support is fixed to the rising section, as shown in the picture above. An H-shaped support on wheels with security brakes, as shown on page 11, can also be used.

Our belt conveyors are predominantly used on punch-nibbling machines, for transporting punching scrap and punching trimmings. However, other parts can also be transported, such as waste parts from plastic injection machines. The transport belt of the conveyor is resistant to oil and grease.

Montech Max Conveyors GTB are used to carry parts to or from the various manufacturing stations, or combined to form complete transport systems. The modular construction of the system permits simple adaptation to specific customer requirements. The conveyor is driven by a 230/400 V spur gear motor with big power reserves. This permits transportation of up to 125 kg in conveying mode. The following chassis widths are available: 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700 and 800 mm.
The end drive version can be fitted above or below the belt depending on available space. The top drive version can transport products up to 80 mm high. The possible belt length is between 1 and 6 m. The center drive version is suitable for conveyors up to 15 m. The drive unit can be placed at any location.

The Conveyor-Configurator is operated intuitively and logically. All necessary information for solving your transport problems is requested sequentially. Starting from your specific requirements and wishes for transporting a product, a conveyor will be proposed according to the “best price principle”. The Portec SB-Merge is the answer when space consideration is important. It can be manufactured at angles as low as 20° and can achieve speeds over 500 fpm. Continuous stop-starts are not a problem because the belts are pulled rather than pushed. It has been specially designed so that belts changes are quick and easy.

It is designed to transport mainly foil-wrapped PET-bottle bulk packs, full cartons or crates. This type of conveyor is used to prevent the fragile bottom part of a package from damage. The conveyor is made up of sheet-metal side plates connected by reinforcement elements, of a sliding guide and of a plastic plate conveyor belt on it. The belt plates have rollers on them. There is an adjustable railing or a sliding guide mounted on the side plates. The conveyor is equipped with height adjustable feet. In case that the product flow stops, the belt smoothly slides under the transported packages due to the rollers.
Application: For all usual types of cartons, foil-wrapped packages and plastic crates.

The Conveyor System MBF-P 2040.02 with modular belting and cleanly integrated drive assemblies distinguishes itself with high load capacities even at narrow belt widths. The belting is positively driven and cannot deviate from its direction of travel.
As a result, parts may be discharged off the side of the conveyor. The belting material is
very low friction and extremely resistant to wear. With the selection of belting materials, this conveyor system has applications in the food industry, does well in higher temperature environments and has good chemical resistance. Belt accessories include side-walls and lateral cleats. Maintenance operations such as belt tensioning or replacement of individual links are quick and simple. |

The inclined belt conveyor GKAL-60 can be used in wide variety of applications.
Upon request it can be made in various sizes within one single day.
The GKAL-60 has an extremely rigid TorsioDur frame in monobloc quality.
As well as in standard sizes it can also be custom made for specific problem solutions.
Along the whole length of the 60 mm high frame, additional accessories can be fixed to M8 sliding blocks gliding in the grooves along the side of the frame.
In a standard configuration the GKAL-60 is equipped with a slatted belt, side guide rails and a receiving hopper with fall black flap. The slats on the belt normally are 20, 30 or 40 mm high. But special heights are also available. The distance between the slats on the belt can be freely chosen. The receiving hopper exists in a small and a big standard version. A lot more of the versatile accessories in our program can be found on the pages 45 to 52 of this brochure.
The two double supports, with which the GKAL-60 on this page is equipped, can be infinitely adjusted in height and angle. For an easy change of position, the support at the receiving end has little casters. In an alternative configuration the GKAL-60 can have a single column support with wheels. It is shown on page 11.

Stainless steel belts are appropriate for continuous conveyance in clean rooms as they generate minimal contamination in belt conveyance systems. In addition, their limited amount of vibration causes no effect on work, and their high conductivity enables electric resistance to be restrained at no more than 10 Ohm. Preventing electrostatic charge and limiting contamination to a minimum, these belts are capable of maintaining consistently clean conveyance conditions

Stainless Steel is often specified when sanitation requirements are a primary concern. The hard, flat and smooth surface of the belt is easy to clean with steam or chlorinated water. Corrosive cleaning solutions will not harm the belt material. In food applications, the belts provide a stable material that will not absorb natural odors or effect the tastes of materials being transported.
