The Packposer divider-conveyor is a compact and flexible system designed by SMI for dividing and channeling containers and packs inside the production lines of the food, beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, detergents and personal care industry. The Packposer receives the packs coming from the packer positioned upstream and, by means of an innovative manipulation system based on three Cartesian axes (x, y and z) and equipped with a motorized gripper, turns them and/or arranges them on two or more lanes, thus composing the format of repackaging set by the work program of the packaging machine positioned downstream. This solution is characterized by: sliding safety doors in anodized aluminium featuring a rounded shape which let all the motors (energy-efficient) be placed externally if compared to the mechanical groups they activate; door closing system equipped with a slow-down device, which accompanies the door smoothly in its final phase of closure; ergonomic and functional frame that allows the operator to carry out easily all activities related to use and maintenance of the installation; operating reliability and long life, thanks to the use of top-quality materials; use of wear-resistant components that minimize the maintenance and cleaning operations, thus reducing the total operating costs.
