The APS 3085 is a single-column Cartesian palletizing system for cases, bundles, trays and similar packs. It is built from configurable modules to adapt to end-of-line logistics and specific palletizing requirements. The core vertical axis is a fixed column (liftable by crane only) along which a horizontal beam runs on recirculating-sphere guides. The beam supports the picking head arm, both driven by brushless motors for precise trajectories during palletizing operations.

Main functions & handling
The system forms rows and layers using the product infeed conveyors and a one-way translation system for layer pre-composition. The picking head picks layers from a conveyor at operator height. APS 3085 handles 800×1200 mm and 1000×1200 mm Euro pallets (other formats available on request). Machine operation is managed by a user-friendly automation and control system for straightforward operator use.

Modules and process details

• Double-entry 90° infeed with layer-forming system: 2 rubberized cadence belts, 2 product infeed belts and a one-way translation system; delivered assembled and cabled
• Row transfer device: two motorized bars (one per row) pushing formed rows onto a layer preformation belt with two motors; layer transfer occurs by belt motion without additional mechanical translation
• Pack rotation device (optional): rotation via contrast cylinder or manipulator
• Empty-pallet feeding: roller conveyors with standard max storage 300 kg and/or max total height 1800 mm; available lengths 1500/2000/2500/3000 mm
• Pad feeding / pad-inserting (optional): adjustable for pad sizes; suction gripping 4–8 adjustable points; optional automatic loading of pad pallets
• Pallet roller conveyor: painted steel frame, rollers Ø76 mm, pitch 150 mm, 5/8" chain drive, electronically reversible central motorisation
