Overview
APS 620 is an ultra-compact semi-automatic palletizer designed for low-speed production lines, combining a three-axis Cartesian pick & place structure with an integrated infeed conveyor, product picking head, pallet feeding line and machine guards. The Minipal family APS 620 is intended for simple installation, operation and maintenance.

Operation
Products enter the palletizer on the feeding conveyor and are paced by a rubber cadence conveyor. A distancing conveyor positions products for picking. The gripping head picks packs individually or grouped and deposits them on pallets transported by motorized roller conveyors. Layer repetition forms pallet loads. Completed pallets are transferred to the unloading area while a new empty pallet is positioned for the next cycle.

Pallets and formats
The APS 620 supports 800×1200 mm and 1000×1200 mm europallets; other pallet formats are available on request.

Automation and interface
Machine functions are managed by an automation and control system with an intuitive graphical touchscreen HMI. POSYC® diagnostics provide technical support and real-time assistance.

• Product feeding conveyor: rubber cadence conveyor and distancing conveyor; additional accumulation stations available depending on product size and pattern.
• Pallet feeding system: automatic empty-pallet transfer into the formation area; 90° pallet transfer via pneumatic device; full pallets moved to external roller conveyor to minimise downtime.
• Product gripping head: side gripper, vacuum gripper (for boxes) or magnetic gripper (for metal containers); gripping head includes motorised rotation to orient products per palletizing pattern.
• Machine guards: perimeter net guards and light curtains with muting device at pallet outfeed area.
• Pad-inserting device (optional): adjustable suction-cup system for interlayer pads; manual loading into magazine.
• Empty-pallet magazine (optional): integrated roller-conveyor magazine, max capacity ≈ 300 kg, max total height ≈ 1800 mm (about 12 pallets 1000×1200 mm).
