Ultraseal® ST-40HS Plastic Tube Sealers
The ST-40HS is an advanced ultrasonic tube sealing system that uses ultrasonic energy to scrub through stringers and contaminants to produce a hermetic seal on most tube materials, including laminates.
A variety of seal patterns are available with date coding easily accomplished at the time of closure.
Some of the major benefits of our ST-40HS are:
Simple installation: The ST-40's compact design is easily installed on all types of filling machines.
Reducing rejects improves productivity: The ultrasonic sealing process seals through product contamination and cuts rejects to less than 1%.
Superior cosmetic appearance: The ultrasonic process eliminates flash and 'ears' often associated with other methods.
Fast: Depending on tube size and material, the ST-40HS operates at rates of up to 80 tubes per minute.
Quick changeover: Versatile tooling requires no changes from tube style to tube style.
Quick start-up: The ultrasonic process requires no warm up time and allows immediate start-up at the beginning of a shift.
Low operating costs: The ultrasonic process is energy efficient. It only uses power when sealing, and does not have to maintain tool temperature.

Two models of "sewing" machines are available. These fabric sealing systems "sew" and/or slit knitted, woven, and nonwoven man-made thermoplastic materials without needle or thread. Machine configuration and the location of the horn and anvils enable flexibility and tight turns in sealing and/or cutting. This also provides an un-obstructed view of the fabric in the processing area.
Typical applications for the systems include protective garments, disposable hospital gowns, shoe covers, face masks, infants' nursery garments, filters, bags, curtains, sails, and web splicing. Sealed edges and seams with no stitch holes prevent penetration of chemicals, liquids, blood-borne pathogens, or particulates, thus providing a benefit over conventional stitching methods

Benefits and Applications
Ultrasonic energy introduced into a dip solder pot eliminates the need for flux while enhancing many soldering processes. It also provides a means to bond solder to a number of materials including aluminum and glass that are difficult or impossible to solder using conventional soldering techniques. Blackstone-NEY Ultrasonics has perfected a technique for introducing ultrasonic energy into dip solder pots and is the exclusive manufacturer of this type of equipment in the world today.
Blackstone-NEY Ultrasonics' solder pots are activated by externally mounted transducers which allow large volume multi-part dipping. The systems' controls are adaptable to automated lines.
Blackstone~NEY Ultrasonics has many years of experience in ultrasonic soldering, dating from the early design and production of some of the first practical equipment for this purpose in the early 1960's. Our experience assures quality and competence in this field.
Ultrasonic soldering finds application in two major areas. They are the pre-tinning and soldering of precision, high reliability electronic components and the joining of aluminum heat exchangers.

Thanks to the circular vibration technology it is possible to weld pieces of thermoplastic material with complex shapes or, when it is not possible to weld the material itself with the conventional technologies (ultrasounds- hot plate ).
The vibration welder VSP409 has been designed and manufactured using the most updated technologies. The vibration is circular. Contrarily to the existing common welders, the motion is got through the unbalancing of the shaft, that has a particular geometry. This is very important, as the customer can do the fixtures by himself. The mechanical and electrical solutions allow
to work in good conditions and with a wide of regulation possibilities, fitting the welder to the most different welding problems. The welder structure is very strong. The basement and the column are in painted steel. The motor that drives the central shaft, is a Brushless type with the innovative electronic placement set.
The movement of the hold-transducer head is pneumatic, controlled by a proportional valve and it takes place on high precision prismatic guides and
with important mechanical characteristics .
One of the most important feature of this welder is certainly the cycle control system completely run by a microprocessor.
It is possible to weld with time mode or with quote mode function controlled by an encoder with centesimal resolution.
In every phase of the cycle, head down, welding and compression, it is possible to set different thrust pressures.
The microprocessor allows to save 10 welding programs.
