| ZincTape comprises a layer of 99,99% pure zinc 80 microns thick with 25 microns of professional adhesive protected by a removable siliconised paper. VITO GLAZINGMOUNT 400 consists of a hight density double-side self-professional adhesive mixed cellular polyuethane foam -based adhesive.
Product characteristics:
Exclusive use of high-grade pure acrylate ensures excellent shear resistance on surfaces consisting of glass, steel and anodized aluminium. This tape excels by its paramount weathering resistance and by its outstanding resistance to ultra-violet radiation. The thermal conductivity value of VITO GLAZINGMOUNT 400 is favourably low (only 0,079W/m²K) and, consequently, contributes substantially to a reduction of the heat transfert within the glazhing system. It is compatible with all important commercially available structural glazing silicones from all leading producers such as - for example - Dow Corning, General Electric, Rhône-Poulenc and Wacker Chemie. This product has been successfully subjected to a test of applicability by the Institut für Fenstertechnik at Rosenheim. The report no. 507 20370 of 20.08.98 is available.
